A centre is lightly indicated by eight petal palmettes radiating out from an octogramme rosette, on an ecru ground, neatly decorated by more and varied petal palmettes, bitonal sickle leaves and interspersed with birds and ramping animals. Cream border with upright and tilting palmettes, and running animals. Well-woven with properly turned corners. Bisk pile. Good condition.
