This all-natural dye rustic NW Persian piece shows a red field with a characteristic pattern of sharply jagged leaves, hooked stiff leaves, and two ragged palmettes with tall hexagon centres, set around a central rosette with two long polychrome flowering stems and four tiny roosters. Navy strip border with reversing turtles. Accents in ecru, mustard, green, pale blue, burnt salmon and coral. medium coarse weave, good condition.
