This village scatter shows a Karaja/Karadagh pattern of two columns of cream octogrammes vertically flanked by giant hook-fringed geometric palmettes, on a deep indigo ground. Small palmettes along the ends and in a central separator staff. Rust border with floating rosettes. Very bold and definitely unusual. Wool  foundation, moderate weave. Good condition.
