This very fine, perfectly executed NW Persian town carpet features a small scale Herati design in the near black field, all the layers of the scalloped lenticular pendanted medallion, and in the equally stacked half-pendanted corner pieces. Near black border with hexagon turtles and lancet leavers. Details in sandy beige, buff and ecru. Cotton foundation, even knotting. Short, crisp pile. New condition.
