A wide ivory hexagonal band filled with paired small scrolling leaves accentuates the field and encloses a similarly decorated red panel and an inner midnight black, again en suite decorated. Diagonal color rows of tiny botehs fill the corners. Main coral red reversing palmette border. A finely woven SW Persian tribal piece with an innovative design. In the 1970's and later the Qashghai weavers broke away from traditions to weave wholly new designs, as here. Good condition.
