A two level beige ogival lattice design with an additional layer of scrolling vinery, is anchored by acanthus palmettes, stencil turtle palmettes and pointed ovals, in a pattern reminiscent of Arts and Crafts interpretations of classic Kerman 17th century “Vase Carpet” designs. There is slight abrashing to the saturated blood red field, and details are executed in straw, rust, near black and shades of beige/cream. Red border with plenteous barbed leafery. Attractive carpet.
