The rust field is closely covered by an allover pattern of cartouches and octogrammes, outlined in navy, and in a star-tile pattern. Each cartouche displays rosettes and a cruciform pattern. Strip style red border with widely splayed green stepped arches and rosette millefleurs fillers. Unusual design with a full five by five layout and half stars at field top and bottom. Well-woven, upright, hard velvet pile. Good condition.
