This west Persian village scatter on a wool warp displays the popular “cane” textile pattern of narrow vertical stripes decorated with floating boteh, connected S’s, ribbon meanders and chevronned flowers, all in old ivory, straw yellow, green, coral red and black. No blues. Narrow borders including an ivory band with lozenge leaves. All borders, no basic field color. Main border abrashes to straw at one end. Well woven, good condition.
