This Chahar Mahal west Persian rustic carpet features the most characteristic local layout of a windowpane design, here in a five by nine array in creamy-straw, red and navy, with crisp yellow accents. Patterns include: flowering vases, mihrabs, stretched botehs, feathery cypresses and triple rosettes. Ecru border of palmettes and tilted barbed leaves. Moderate/medium weave, deeply saturated palette. Good condition.
