This very unusual Anatolian pileless Kenare (runner) shows a rust-red field with 14 triplets of vertical cartouches in ecru, burnt salmon, brown-black and yellow, supported by a lateral scatter of small doubled triangles and two-tone hexagons. Cream border with unidirectional pattern of very stylized V-form flowers. Dark blue outer border of parti-colored floating hexagons. Very interesting with unusual antique format. Medium-fine rustic slit tapestry weave. Probably Eastern Turkish. Good condition.
