A semi-curvilinear Heriz style, developed first in the later 1940's, this prime example shows a shaped red field with a convex, octofoil navy medallion with pointed lobes, Ivory corners with angled inner cartouches. Flowing vinery in the Farahan-Sarouk manner. Navy strip-style border with rosettes and barbed bent leaves against a dotted filling. Heavy hand, cotton foundation, medium weave. Good condition.
