We call it a "Mahal" from western Persia, but the rosette and bent leaf red border is usually from the Heriz area further north. The navy indigo field shows twelve rows of left-facing botehs accented in ivory, and each enclosing a small flower. Red triangular band at the field edges. Small dots fill in everywhere. Ivory reversing fan palmette minors. Cotton foundation, unusual no matter the location attribution. Good condition.
