The navy field of this unusual NW Persian rustic runner (Kenare) shows a long central saff anchored by three Shirvan-style rosettes and a smaller ecru palmette, with two similar palmettes to the sides. A broken vinery develops from the staff, and displays buds, irises, geometric leaves, florets and palmettes. Red main border with a "tangerine flower" pattern of triple ecru flowers and linking rosettes. Cream en suite minors with reversing fan palmettes. Generally good condition with very minor end issues. Moderate weave.
