The scatter and room size pieces made in the Arak/Sultanabad area, between 1880 and 1910, with firm and leathery well-woven textures, and strong in red, navy and ecru tones, usually in medallion formats. A transition group between the earlier 19th century Farahans and the post-WWI Sarouks. Drawing is between curvilinear and angular.
