Looks like a Kashan, but actually it is a well-woven product of the Central Persian Chahar Mahal village complex. It certainly copies urban works, with its rust-red field, and volute, split ecru barbed arabesques, and gently scalloped ogival navy palmette medallion. Extended old ivory flower trail corners. Farahan-style reversing turtle palmette border. Cotton foundation, leathery handle. Good condition.
