Firouz FarmanFarmaian is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, exile, and cultural identity. Born in Iran and raised in France, FarmanFarmaian’s artistic practice is deeply influenced by his nomadic lineage and Persian heritage, weaving together abstract expressionism, textile art, sculpture, and immersive installations.
His work examines themes of displacement, movement, and the passage of time, often using textiles as a metaphor for migration, transformation, and resilience. Inspired by his family's historical background and personal experiences of exile, FarmanFarmaian’s compositions reflect the fluidity of identity and the collective memory of diasporic communities.
