Patterns of Passage - Caravans of Tapestries

Victor Gallery Presents “Patterns of Passage - Caravans of Tapestries” – A Solo Exhibition by Firouz FarmanFarmaian

Victor Gallery proudly announces the opening of "Patterns of Passage - Caravans of Tapestries," a solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Firouz FarmanFarmaian, curated by We R The Nomads. The exhibition will open with a reception on Saturday, April 25, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at Victor Gallery's DC location in the presence of the artist. The show will run through April 25, 2025.

Building on the success of his recent exhibition in Tribeca, FarmanFarmaian continues to explore themes of displacement, movement, and identity through textile-based compositions and abstract paintings. His work, often described as a contemporary interpretation of nomadic aesthetics, transforms textiles into vessels of memory, history, and cultural evolution. "Patterns of Passage / Caravans of Tapestries" expands on the artist's commitment to storytelling through materiality, offering a powerful meditation on ancestral heritage and the notion of home in an era of global flux.

The exhibition follows recent critical recognition of FarmanFarmaian's artistic vision and the We R The Nomads collective, as highlighted in Artnet’s feature, which underscores the artist’s innovative approach to weaving cultural memory with contemporary abstraction. His work has been widely exhibited and collected internationally, solidifying his reputation as a leading voice in post-tribal contemporary art.

Victor Gallery, known for its dedication to curating thought-provoking exhibitions, invites art collectors, critics, and enthusiasts to experience this immersive display.
